Natural Indian Quartzites
Royal Indian Stones exports, manufactures, owns factories, wholesales, and supplies natural quartzite blocks, slabs, kitchen tops, countertops, and polished tiles from India. Quartzite is a nonfoliated metamorphic rock made up almost entirely of quartz. Metamorphism alters a quartz-rich sandstone through heat, pressure, and chemical activity, resulting in formation. Quartzite is a hard, tough, and long-lasting rock due to its interlocking crystalline structure. It is so tough that it breaks through the quartz grains rather than breaking along their boundaries; this distinguishes true quartzite from sandstone. Quartzite is typically white to gray; however, iron-stained rock units can be pink, red, or purple. Other impurities can cause quartzite to appear yellow, orange, brown, green, or blue. Quartzite can be used in almost every residential or commercial application, including wall cladding, roofs, floor surfaces, shower enclosures, and around pools.
